More hot spriger reports

Yesterday we spey fished and never hooked a fish.  We fished really well, we had the gear to comfortably cast intermediate skagit lines a long way loaded with plenty of T-14 and great flies.  We bumped the bottom wherever we wanted to, and only lost a couple of flies.  The water was beautiful, we saw only a couple other boats, and we saw some chrome bight spring Chinook swim by, a couple damn big ones, so in short, a rotten day.

The salmon fishing towards the end of this week kinda sucked.  Just very few fish moving into the river.  The tribal nets came out yesterday and I thought that would bring a few in in the after noon but nada.  Last night we had a sprinkle of rain, I am hoping that gets things going a bit better this morning.  With the water getting so low it might take a couple of days to move fish up the Quilayute.
