More salmon

The opener is coming up.

Plenty of springer dates left this month…..and look, if you really want some good salmon/steelhead fishing book early June.  Its a nice time to get a good shot at some rested fish.

Springers are never a sure thing, sometimes they just gleefully come over and eat sometimes they ignore everything. They are more than worth the trouble.   Plus with the weather and water we have this time of year its hard to lose.

Some really cool trout fishing going on too.

Its not our full blown trout fishing yet, but if you enjoy fishing for coastal cutthroat it is definitely some of the very best you will find in Washington this time of year.  The bigger fish are mostly keyed in on some pretty large smolt, which makes them a little hard to bring to a fly of reasonable trout proportions, but

Salmon are super cool, but a quite day of trout fishing is awful nice
