New net, Hatchery steelhead season

Months, maybe even 4.  That’s how long I spent ordering a replacement for my worn out Frabil net.

I LOVED that net, but its done and they don’t make it anymore.  I ended up with a Beckman pen fin saver, the verdict is still out, however so far I am pleased.  I threw it in the boat for the first time last week, price tag attached, and scooped up a double header of hatchery winter steelhead before we were past the first hole.

I am pretty well booked up, BUT Caleb and Ryan have dates, and the fishing has been good until the apocalyptic rain.  You should come out and grab a few hatchery fish before the season ends and there are nothing but native fish.

If you feel that hatchery steelhead aren’t really your cup of yarn.

At home with the family, cutting some wood, waiting for the rivers to drop.  Maybe planning some sort of late April spey classes..I think I have something cool in mind
