Summer steelhead, sea run cutthroat, open dates

Great weather, good fishing,

Yesterday we caught some very nice trout on dry flies, spotted a handful of steelhead and managed to hook and lose one.  We also had a giant deranged chrome bright summer king chase down a dry without making contact.

We saw one other angler, and no boats.

I am hoping some more steelhead show up….soon.  But until then its a little steelhead fishing early in the morning, trout in the afternoon.

Not a bad way to roll, I have July 6,14,16,17,21, through 24 open.  If you want to book a straight up trout trip I have some dates I would like to fill that I would discount down to $400.0

Lots of cutthroat, happy to eat dry's

Also, if you want to do a strange and wonderful lost in wilderness trout trip, we can do that, and I am looking forward to it.

The OP has a lot of water that requires a bit of hiking, or a whole hell of a lot of hiking.  And  there are a lot of trout (yes, a few steelhead) in some places.  If you would like to spend a day hiking into some of the cooler spots and catching a mix of cutthroat and rainbows drop me a line.

Can you fly fish the summer run with a 5/6 weight 9 foot rod? My setup is for the Yakima.
