We love catching sea run cutthroat on dry flies in the rivers and estuaries.  We do it whenever we can talk people out of salmon and steelhead fishing.

We have trout fishing from June until November but there is no denying that the best of it is from early September to late October. The dry fly fishing for coastal cutthroat at this time can be absolutely outstanding. If you want to creep around the creeks in the summer and sight cast at resident trout in lost and forgotten places, we can do that, all summer.

If you want to skulk around salty estuaries to cast at pods of fast moving sea runs, we have that covered, all summer.

But if you want good old fashioned dry fly gulping action from the seat of a comfortable drift boat, beverage and sandwich close at hand, September October sea run season is for you.
